Julu Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Julu, including its mobile applications, social networking features, creator tools, live features, chat, memberships, digital goods, donations, tips, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Fancy LLC (“Fancy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing the Service, purchasing a paid feature, posting content, or otherwise using Julu, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Child Safety & Youth Protection Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use Julu. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you satisfy these requirements.

Julu is not directed to minors. We may request age or identity verification and may suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe belongs to a person under 18 or contains inaccurate eligibility information.

You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law, including applicable trade sanctions or export-control restrictions.

3. The Service

Julu is a global social network that allows eligible users to create profiles, follow or interact with other users, publish text, images, and videos, conduct or watch live streams, exchange chat messages, offer or purchase memberships and digital goods, make one-time purchases, and send voluntary donations or tips.

Features may differ by device, operating system, account type, location, or release version. We may add, change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any feature where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, product development, or business operations.

4. Accounts and Account Security

You may register using email or an eligible Google or Apple account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and promptly update it when it changes.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must promptly notify us at contact@fancio.io if you suspect unauthorized access, credential theft, or account misuse.

You may not sell, lease, share, transfer, or allow another person to control your account. We may require verification before restoring access, processing a payout, or making a material account change.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You must use Julu lawfully and responsibly. You may not:

• exploit, sexualize, groom, solicit, endanger, or otherwise harm a minor;
• upload, request, distribute, promote, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or child sexual exploitation;
• post unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, hateful, harassing, excessively violent, obscene, or non-consensual intimate content;
• impersonate another person or entity, misrepresent affiliation, or use deceptive identity information;
• infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
• disclose another person’s personal, financial, health, location, or confidential information without authorization;
• promote terrorism, violent extremism, human trafficking, controlled substances, illegal gambling, weapons trafficking, or other illegal activity;
• engage in scams, manipulation, artificial engagement, spam, unsolicited commercial messaging, or misleading promotions;
• circumvent safety, age, payment, access-control, moderation, rate-limit, or security mechanisms;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• introduce malware, malicious code, or content intended to compromise another device or account;
• use Julu to train, develop, or improve an artificial intelligence or machine-learning model without our written permission; or
• assist or encourage another person to do any of the foregoing.

6. User Content

“User Content” means any text, image, video, live stream, chat message, profile information, comment, digital item, or other material that you submit, upload, transmit, stream, publish, or otherwise make available through Julu.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You are solely responsible for it and for obtaining all permissions, releases, licenses, and consents required to publish it. You represent and warrant that your User Content and our permitted use of it do not violate law, these Terms, or any third-party right.

Live streams and chats may be captured, reported, reviewed, preserved, or disclosed when reasonably necessary for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

7. Content Moderation, Blocking, and Reporting

We may review, restrict, label, demonetize, remove, preserve, or disable access to User Content or accounts when we reasonably believe they violate these Terms, present a safety risk, infringe rights, expose us or others to liability, or are otherwise harmful to the Service.

Users may report content or conduct through available in-app reporting tools or by emailing contact@fancio.io. Users may also block other users where the feature is available.

We may use human review and automated systems to detect abuse, fraud, harmful content, and policy violations. Automated systems can make mistakes; where available, you may request review of an enforcement decision by contacting us.

We may preserve and report apparent criminal activity, child sexual exploitation, credible threats, or imminent danger to appropriate service providers, safety organizations, or law-enforcement authorities as required or permitted by law.

8. License to User Content

By making User Content available through Julu, you grant Fancy LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, modify for technical or formatting purposes, transmit, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, communicate, and otherwise use that User Content solely to operate, provide, secure, moderate, improve, market, and promote Julu and content available on Julu.

This license continues for as long as the User Content remains on the Service and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and technical operations. It does not authorize us to sell ownership of your User Content to an unrelated third party.

You grant other users a limited, non-exclusive license to access and interact with User Content through the functionality you select within Julu. No user receives rights beyond those expressly enabled by the Service.

9. Paid Features and Billing

Julu may offer memberships, digital goods, donations, tips, and one-time purchases. Prices, billing intervals, included benefits, and applicable taxes are displayed before purchase.

All purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple through Apple In-App Purchase. All purchases made in the Android app are processed by Google through Google Play Billing. The applicable store’s terms, billing rules, refund process, and payment-method requirements apply in addition to these Terms.

We do not directly receive your full payment-card details from Apple or Google. We may receive transaction identifiers, receipts, purchase status, subscription status, storefront, currency, and related billing records.

10. Memberships, Digital Goods, and One-Time Purchases

Memberships may provide access to creator content, community features, badges, or other digital benefits. Unless otherwise disclosed, recurring memberships renew automatically through the applicable app store until canceled through the user’s Apple or Google account settings.

Canceling a recurring membership stops future renewals but generally does not provide a prorated refund for the current billing period unless required by law or approved by the applicable app store.

Digital goods are licensed, not sold. They have no cash value outside Julu, may not be transferred unless the Service expressly permits it, and may be modified or discontinued where reasonably necessary. Any unused virtual item or access right may expire when your account is terminated for a material violation.

One-time purchases provide the access or digital benefit described at checkout. Unless required by law or the applicable app store’s policy, completed delivery of digital content is non-refundable.

11. Donations and Tips

Donations and tips are voluntary payments intended to support a creator. They do not purchase ownership, equity, employment, charitable tax treatment, or a guaranteed service unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise.

Donations and tips are generally final and non-refundable once processed, except where required by law, where the payment was unauthorized, or where the applicable app store grants a refund.

12. Creators, Earnings, and Payouts

Eligible users may apply to receive creator payouts. We may require identity documents, tax information, and bank-account information to verify eligibility, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and process payouts.

Creator earnings are calculated from qualifying transactions after deductions that may include app-store fees, platform fees disclosed in the Service, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, fraud losses, and other adjustments permitted by these Terms.

We may delay, withhold, reverse, or offset payouts where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, verify identity, resolve disputes, comply with legal process, correct errors, or address violations. A creator is responsible for taxes, licenses, disclosures, and legal obligations arising from creator activity.

Creators are independent users, not employees, agents, joint venturers, or representatives of Fancy LLC. We do not guarantee audience size, revenue, discoverability, or continued availability of monetization features.

13. Apple App Store and Google Play Terms

Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of provisions applicable to their platforms and may enforce those provisions where permitted by their terms.

Neither Apple nor Google is responsible for Julu’s content, support, maintenance, warranties, claims, or legal compliance except to the extent required under their own terms. For billing, subscription management, and refund requests, use the tools provided by the store that processed the transaction.

14. Our Intellectual Property

Julu, its software, design, logos, trademarks, interfaces, documentation, and Company-created content are owned by or licensed to Fancy LLC and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Julu for its intended purposes. No other rights are granted.

15. Copyright Complaints and DMCA Notices

If you believe content on Julu infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright contact containing:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
• identification and location of the allegedly infringing material;
• your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
• a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act.

We may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. A person who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for resulting damages.

16. Third-Party Services

Julu may rely on Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, Sentry, AppsFlyer, authentication providers, hosting providers, and other vendors. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for third-party services that you independently access, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.

17. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

You may stop using Julu and request account deletion through available account controls or by contacting contact@fancio.io.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access immediately or after notice when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment, repeated infringement, material breach, or protection of users and the Service.

Termination does not eliminate obligations accrued before termination, including payment obligations, creator adjustments, indemnity obligations, and provisions that by their nature should survive.

18. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Julu IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.

WE DO NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE USER CONTENT, CREATORS, USERS, DIGITAL GOODS, LIVE STREAMS, INTERACTIONS, EARNINGS, OR OUTCOMES. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS AND SHOULD USE APPROPRIATE CAUTION.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FANCY LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US THROUGH Julu DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

20. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fancy LLC and its affiliates, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your User Content, your use of Julu, your transactions or creator activity, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

21. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and Fancy LLC consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer right or remedy available under applicable law.

22. International Use

Julu is offered globally, but availability does not mean that every feature is lawful or available in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with local laws that apply to you.

You may not use the Service in violation of United States export-control, sanctions, or trade laws. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to comply with such laws.

23. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, safety, operational, or product changes. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the Service, email, or another appropriate method. The updated Terms become effective on the stated date.

If you continue using Julu after the effective date, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion.

24. General Terms

These Terms, together with policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fancy LLC regarding Julu.

If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the Service.

Section headings are for convenience only. Electronic notices and records satisfy written-notice requirements to the extent permitted by law.
